MYOAGE, is a European research network (large scale collaborative project) coordinated by the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Institut National de la Santé et de la Recherche Médicale, Gillian S. Butler-Browne, Paris - FRANCE) and co-funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework programme for 4 years.

The last MYOAGE workshop date and topic has been set up. This workshop, open to young scientists (PhD students  and postdocs) will address the following topics:

• Muscle, senescence and life span

• Muscle secretome

• Mechanisms in loss of muscle mass and function with ageing.

• Skeletal muscle loss and function: Inside and outside the muscle

This workshop will be organised in Copenhagen, Danemark by Pr. Bente Pedersen and Pr. Michael Kjaer on August 30^th and 31^st, 2012.
